HE was the former biscuit factor worker with the massive voice, but Craig Colton lost out to Little Mix on The X Factor in 2011.
Craig famously wowed during his audition for series eight of the singing contest.
Fun and bubbly on stage, his jolly demeanour hid just how powerful his vocals would be.
Craig blew judges Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa and Louis Walsh away with his rendition of Adele’s Hiding My Heart Away.
So much so he whizzed straight through to the live shows as one of Take That star Gary’s boys… and that’s where the makeover began.
Soon his bomber jackets and jeans were good, as was the Justin Bieber-style comb over fringe.
Instead he rocked a slick hair do and more form-fitting clothes, in part thanks to the strict health regime he was said to be on.
He ended up leaving the show in week seven, but what happened afterwards?
Well, he kept up the healthy eating that’s for sure.
In 2012 he told Now magazine that he’d dropped almost four stone thanks to a dedication to eating well.
“I’ve got so much more confidence now,” he said.
“I’ve lost almost four stone and I’m doing it slowly.
“I don’t want to lose a stone a week or anything like that.

“I’m still enjoying myself – hashtag cocktails.”
Regular trips to the gym also helped with his new body.
Craig, who was 24 at the time of the interview, revealed he worked out between three and four times a week.
“I live on omelettes with two yolks and three whites – to get my protein – with ham and cheese or tomato,” he explained.
“I used to survive on crisps and sandwiches.
“I don’t eat a lot of fat and I’ve cut right down on sugar.
“Eggs are the way forward.”

These days Craig is looking better than ever, proving he’s really stuck to the healthy lifestyle regime.
He regularly updates fans on his Facebook and Twitter profiles, including a recent shot which shows him with a trendy beard and slicked-back quiff.
Even more exciting for the singer – he’s recently set up home with his partner Shane.
Craig seems very loved up with Shane and enjoys posting pictures of the pair of them together on social media.
He’s still signing and writing music too, with his Twitter profile stating he’s most likely to be found “hiding in the studio”.
